A deep golden wine made from hand picked grapes harvested late in the year which have benefited from Sauternes style noble rot. Fresh aromas and a subtle raisiny sweetness, the French drink it with foie gras but it’s also great with all sorts of puds or just on its own!

Made from some of our oldest Semillon vines in years when conditions enable us to harvest grapes with naturally high sugar levels. At Grand Mayne this happens once every four or five years.

Comprising 55% Sémillon, 30% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Chenin, the grapes are harvested by hand, before a gentle pressing followed by fermentation and then ageing in barrel for 24 months to achieve a succulent balance between acidity and sweetness.

A very unusual Blend but very interesting. A wine to drink now or age over the next few decades.
